Love2Learn Curriculum and Home-schooling Seminars provide you with a more detailed introduction to Home Education and Love2Learn Curriculum as well as an opportunity to view our resources. We regularly have parents flying and driving in from across South Africa to attend these seminars. We would value the opportunity to answer any questions you may have, encourage you in your home-schooling, provide you with more detailed information in general and introduce you to the Love2Learn Home-Schooling Curriculum.
What we cover at our Seminars:
The seminar itself is divided into three parts:
Part 1 - The Big 10: Questions everyone asks about home-schooling. Home-schooling: why do people home-school, is it viable, how well does it work, can I teach, will I cope, what about Matric maths, will my children benefit and be accepted into university? We cover all the research relating to academic and social performance of home-schoolers, both in South Africa as well as internationally. In addition, we discuss practical issues such as integration into sports teams right through to issues such as writing Matric, legalities, qualifications required and university entrance.
Part 2 - Running Through Fields, Gazing at Stars, Celebrating Home-schooling God's Way With Abundance and Joy: This presentation offers encouragement and practical tips to current and veteran home-schoolers with the aim of maximising JOY and FREEDOM in the home-schooling day-to-day experience.
Part 3 - How does Love2Learn Curriculum Work and how do I get started?: Finally, the seminar also offers a highly visual vehicle to demonstrate how the Love2Learn Home-Schooling Curriculum works and we are able to show you how a typical home-schooling day would operate. You are given the opportunity to browse all of the books and lesson plans relating to each grade and subject. We also offer a question and answer period, and after the presentation, we are able to speak with you about your children's particular needs. Many people wonder which Core to place their children on, and we offer individual assistance in determining this at the presentation.

* Please note that child-minding does not include babies in arms and toddlers under the age of 4. Parents with babies in arms are welcome to attend, however these parents will need to be responsible for minding them. We respectfully request that parents with toddlers younger than 4 years of age arrange for their toddlers to be baby-sat at home or with friends/family, as our child-minding team is not able to cater for children in this age group. Children over the age of 4 are welcome to attend. Please supply us with the names of any adults and the names and ages of any children that will be joining you, by no later than the Wednesday prior to the Saturday that you will be attending. In addition, kindly supply us with a contact cell number.

Should you be unable to attend one of our Seminars, we have some good news:
- We have produced a 2-disc DVD set of our Seminar, which encompasses the Parts 1, 2 & 3 (as per above), as well as a Part 4: “A word to Fathers” (guidance and encouragement for Dad’s so that they in turn can support their wives as together you embark on home-schooling) and a Part 5: “Turning the Hearts of the Fathers…”, which is an audio clip based on Luke 1:17 from the Bible. This 2-Disc DVD pack is available at a cost of R150.00 incl p&p within South Africa’s borders.
- In addition to the Seminar DVD Pack, we can also offer you a copy of Ivana’s book (Ivana is a Director and the author of Love2Learn Curriculum) entitled “Running through Fields, Gazing at Stars – Home-Schooling God’s Way With Abundance and Joy” and an audio CD of her talk of the same name, as well as a 52 page A4 book explaining what Love2Learn Curriculum is all about and how it works. The cost for this set is R110.00 including p&p within South Africa’s borders.
