While Love2Learn Curriculum is an international home-schooling curriculum it is also serves families that reside in South Africa or are posted abroad.

Serving families on four continents, it’s high academic standard, Charlotte Mason combined with Classical Education approach, it’s design specifically for the home-school, user-friendliness particularly in terms of learning styles crowned by its broad content afford it a very wide appeal among home-schoolers.

International home-schooling families receive a world class education and focus on international history and geography.

However, South African families required something that is home-grown… and that they can be proud of!

It is wrong for South African children to know more about the geography and history of one or two first world countries while their own heritage, struggles and civil strife that birthed a new South Africa are never raised.

South Africans, despite the woes and difficulties that beset the country, remain proud to be so! As Christians, this is our mission field. We are the torch bearers of hope, compassion, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and love in action to a nation that faces a multitude of complex challenges.

South Africa’s rich history, heritage and culture is an important part of identity, and forms part of SA children’s education. As such South African history, geography, food, music, art, drama and culture are included in Love2Learn, but always presented from a Christian worldview. (These remain detachable modules for the international home-schooling family.)

Love2Learn high-school students write a Cambridge IGCSE, As an A-Levels. These are internationally accepted school-leaving qualifications, particularly when it comes to university entrance.

An in depth history paper covering South African history is offered to South African families. Afrikaans is offered as both a first and second language at As-Level and we are hoping to add more of the official languages such as Zulu to the list!
