Love2Learn is a classical curriculum coupled implemented Charlotte Mason’s way. We believe strongly in a “Great Books” education. To this end, the literature prescribed from the early years through high school builds systematically towards this goal.

Any twaddle and spiritually offensive literature is excluded from our selection. Your family will truly end up with an heirloom library! We trust our Literature programme will help your child develop a love for reading and a love for books.

Live the History
There is no better way to learn history than to “live it”,
and one of the most accessible ways to achieve this in a home-schooling context is through the medium of engaging, humorous, entertaining, suspense-filled historical literature.

Biographies
Biographies of Christian heroes, famous people and scientists, old as well as modern classics, Shakespeare, Dickens, and just simply well-written fiction round off the programme.

Classics
Exposing our children to the very best writers of our times impacts their command of English at a number of levels. Firstly vocabulary is enriched and expanded. Secondly, they learn to intuit the laws of grammar and spelling very naturally, while they are entertained and engrossed in an “un-put-downable” book. Children are exposed to a number of life situations through good literature. These encourage discussion within the context of a Christian worldview.
