Reading God's Word
Core 1 Bible includes a wonderful and beautifully illustrated volume including more than 200 treasured accounts from the Old and New Testaments. Skilful storytelling introduces our young children to the drama, mystery and wonder of God’s Word. Evocative and engaging retellings unfold the sweep of Bible history in words and phrases our children will understand and enjoy.
Accessible paraphrases of a selection of Prophecy, Psalms and Proverbs are included. The illustrations are full of texture and detail and evoke a sense of life in biblical times—this volume will be a delight to read and read again!
Christian Character
Designed to instill a foundation of good behaviour and positive interaction with their peers, based on God’s Word, this resource teaches our children about kindness, cheerfulness, forgiveness, obedience, friendship, courage, prayer and more! This colourful and fun resource includes an Audio Drama CD featuring six stories.
Service In The Home
This component is included in the Core 1 Bible Engine Room which accompanies this course.
For example you would be given a verse to introduce to your child:
“If you see your brother’s ox or sheep straying,
do not ignore it, but be sure to take it back to him.” Deut 22 : 1-4
Then you would be instructed to continue throughout the week our focus is on the Godly character trait of diligence towards others belongings.
Begin by discussing once again the scripture verse above and explain how God expects us to be diligent towards others belongings as well as our own. How often do our children walk past one another’s toys, clothes, shoes, without ever thinking to pick them up and return them to their siblings?
Each morning this week, assign a 10-minute task to your child that will afford them the opportunity to practice and develop this sort of diligence. For example:
Monday : Help your sister or brother hang up their clothes.
Tuesday : Walk around the garden and pick up one another’s toys.
Wednesday : Help your sister or brother to sharpen all their school pencils.
Thursday : Help your sister or brother tidy up their bedroom cupboards.
Spend this week developing this attitude of diligence and care for one another during service time.
Bible Teachings
This section of the course is intended to be a guide to you the parent to assist you in your desire to teach your children about God. There is nothing more important in the spiritual development of our children than quiet talks with Mom and Dad about our awesome God who made us and loves us passionately.
Each lesson begins with a wonderful story, followed by questions which act as further conversation starters and help your child to apply the teachings of the Bible to their world. Memory verses are included as are hymns to sing together. Prayer seals the seed that has been sown into your child’s heart. Covering aspects such as Looking for God, God is Very Great, All that God Does is Good, God’s Law, God Loves Us, What Jesus Did, About the Holy Spirit, How We Become Children of God, How God’s Children Live and Grow, God Helps His Children Live for Him, When we Pray to God, About God’s Church, Things that are to Happen.

Every lesson of every day has been carefully planned for you in the Core 1 Bible Engine Room which is automatically included in this subject.
Bible Art And Craft
Each week a bible art or craft project is completed relating directly to the lesson topic at hand. The project is divided into five manageable 5—10 minute daily chunks… resulting in a complete project your children will be proud to display at the end of the week!
Daily Prayer
Although our children are little, they are still living stones in God’s church! And as part of His church they are encouraged to pray AND LISTEN to the Lord’s response! Prayer topics include needs within the immediate family, prayer for unsaved family and friends, prayer for our country and it’s leaders, prayer for missionaries and more!
Praise and Worship
Ranging from Bible action songs to vibrant praise to contemplative worship, we encourage you to expose your children to music as a means of worshipping our Lord. Love2Learn does not supply music CD’s as part of this component of Bible, as families tend to have their own favourite CD’s and familiar hymns, choruses and more.

Chronicles of the exciting, challenging and deeply touching true stories of ordinary men and women whose trust in God accomplished extraordinary exploits for His kingdom and glory, neither you nor your children will want to put these books down! Please note that this item, although to be used as part of Core 1 Bible is actually found in Core 1 Literature.
